Villa Santa Croce represents the
will of anyone who wants to
pass a holiday in Sicily. The
luxurious structure, which has
been obtained after an attentive
restoration in modern style, of
the ancient Game House of the
Marquises of Ganzeria, is situated
at the centre of an estate of
20 hectares, which is the ancient
game reserve of the family.
The calm of the place, the discrete
elegancy of the Villa, united with
any luxury, the proximity to the
towns, but also to the sea, and
its strategic position, make this
an ideal place for a holiday in
Sicily. All the luxury of the Villa,
private veranda and garden, the
swimming pool, the tennis court
and all the relaxation of the
estate will be at exclusive use of
the guests.
The Villa is composed
of six bedrooms, so it can
house, according to the combinations,
from 12 until 18 persons.
The big hall with a large kitchen
and living room are the heart of
the Villa. From here the view
gives on the garden and on the
surrounding countryside. Here
you will pass the best moments
in company, sitting at the table
or comfortably relaxing on the
sofas.
The large outside veranda,
which is covered, offers a large area directly
onto the garden for pleasant hours in the
shade or for summer evening meals. All
the bedrooms are equipped with a private
bathroom and are air conditioned and
heated. The garden extends all around the
villa and houses the original essences like
bitter oranges, lemons,
mulberry, almonds. The swimming pool,
in a discrete position, is surrounded by a
characteristic hedge of prickly pear trees,
and offers a large sun lounge equipped with
sun beds and seats.
The offer is completed
by a wonderful private tennis court,
surrounded by trees and vegetation. The
Estate, around the villa extends for 20
hectares and was the largest game reserve
of the Marquises of Ganzeria. The country
side, very natural and planted with carob
and olive trees, is the quintessence of Sicily.
Every period of the year has its wonders.
From the top of the hill the view is
spectacular when the sun goes down in
the sea and when the country side colours
gold.
